Like all of KitchenAid's stand mixers it has planetary action. That means while the shaft rotates one way, the accessory spins the other. This ensures ingredients are consistently mixed. With the beater reaching at least 59 touchpoints around the bowl, you get a thorough, even mix every time.

Every Artisan Plus stand mixer comes with a complete set of stainless steel accessories – a precision-welded bowl, double flex edge beater, dough hook, wire whisk, and flat beater. Rust-resistant and dishwasher safe, they’re built to handle heavy mixes and everyday favorites.

More ways to create
The Artisan Plus stand mixer is already a powerhouse, going way beyond baking. Add an optional attachment and it can go even further. Explore everything from ice cream and fresh pasta to veggie slicing and meat grinding. Attachments sold separately.

Switch between classic speeds, or twist to fine tune
Control your mixer with classic presets, or twist the knob to experience the first KitchenAid® stand mixer with precision speed controls, gliding smoothly between 11 settings and every speed in between.

Start slow with the new soft start feature, which gradually increases mixing speed, helping avoid a puff of flour or a splatter of batter. Or, stay slow and fold in delicate ingredients with the 1/2 speed setting: on our tilt-head mixer for the first time.

Illuminate every stir, knead, whip and fold
Meet the first KitchenAid stand mixer with an integrated bowl light. Shine a spotlight on your bowl to see how well ingredients are incorporating—from butter creaming into sugar to eggs swirling into a silky batter. The light turns on automatically when you lower the head, or you can activate it by twisting the control knob.

Featuring a welded handle that replaces the previous stamped design, elevating the mixer's style with sleek modernity.
